GOLD

At Crown Gold Exchange, we will purchase silver in any form, so long as it has a purity grade of .800 or higher. Silverware, for example, can carry a hallmark of .800 or .830 (indicating a purity of 80% or 83%, respectively). Pure silver is marked .999 fine, while sterling silver (which is 92.5% pure) has a stamp reading “.925 sterling”. We will accept silverware, silver jewelry, or even silver ornaments or bowls. We also accept silver coins. Silver coins are generally 90% pure; such silver is referred to as “coin silver”. Coin silver may or may not have a .900 mark.
Just as with gold, there are a number of famous designers that offer a line of quality silver products that command a high price on the secondary market. Judith Ripka and David Yurman are such designers. We also pay a higher price for certain Mexican designs, such as those from the Taxco region, or for the work of Native American artisans such as Yazzie, Begay, Bisbee, and others. OTHER METAL OR JEWELRY
